1. Apply for a Fireworks Permit

The day has come AND Cracker Night 2025 Permits are now OPEN!

Follow these simple steps to apply:

1. Download and Complete Your Permit Application:

• Download the Type 2 Fireworks Permit form and fill it out.

2. Submit Your Application:

• Take your completed application to your nearest Service Tasmania Centre.

3. Wait for Approval:

• Permit approvals typically take 5-7 business days and are sent via email or post. Be sure to check your junk folder before contacting WorkSafe Tasmania.

2. Order Your Fireworks

Ordering is quick and easy!

• Fastest way is through our Online Shop, which opens on April 1st, 2025. OR if you prefer, you can also call / SMS us at 0429 640 715 or by emailing us.
• HOT TIP: You don't have to wait!! Order before submitting your permit application or while waiting for approval.
• Please keep in mind that we’ll have a limited selection at our pickup depots.
• To avoid missing out, we recommend ordering online as stock tends to sell out fast!!

3. Collect Your Fireworks

• Collect your fireworks from one of our many pickup 'DEPOT' locations across Tasmania listed here.
• We’ll have a limited range available, so it’s best to place your main order online to ensure you don’t miss out.
• You ONLY pay on collection day with cash or card. We require your approved permit and ID when you collect.

4. Plan and Prepare

Start planning and preparing for your event today - we have plenty of helpful information to ensure a smooth fireworks experience while keeping safety a top priority.
