Candle Safety Warning
Never hold candles, especially large calibres that shoot explosive starbursts or contain reports. Malfunctions can cause serious injury, such as loss of fingers or permanent eye damage.
If you must hold a candle, follow these safety measures:
Only hold small-calibre candles with simple comet effects—never hold those with explosive effects.
Wear thick gloves (e.g., riggers or welding gloves) and safety glasses.
Never point the candle at others or look down the tube.
Hold the candle at the butt end to minimise risk.
We do not condone holding any fireworks candles.
