Pyrotechnicians transport, arrange, operate and break down firework displays. While no formal education is necessary for the position, aspiring pyrotechnicians must go through training and attain licensure. Some states require an individual to be 21 years of age to work on a fireworks display team, while 18 is the minimum age nationwide.
